2nd Generation Crafting Mom

I remember my mostly-stay-at-home mom at the sewing machine, usually sewing for a craft show or to make stock for local boutiques; bibs, baby items, cloth napkins and table linens, and many a seasonal item.

When I got older I got to help make some of these items, first some of the small crafts and later when my sewing skills were better - using the serger and topstitching, and helping set up/take down at the craft shows (free labor!)

Now that I'm a mom (and haven't stopped sewing) and seeing my mom want to retire, I've gotten the bug to continue on with my own spin and style. I'd love to be a full time stay at home mom, but the creative bug just pulls me in so many directions, and hopefully my daughter will learn and love creating!
